Installed GWX but...
Hy everyone,
last weekend iinstalled GWX following install instruction and starting from a SHIII to 1.4 patched... I added GWX 102 patch and SH3Cmdr (and GWX102Cfg4SH3Cmdr too). Unfortunally game critical crashed during my first departure (too many vessels, i thought), so i added "Lite Harbor Traffic" option and i have not had crash (even if frame rate is slowed) but, framerate problems apart, i noted there is a kind of brown bar (row) in the upper left side of any screen, as it was the lower part of a brown frame... is it normal for GWX expansion? I thought it could be a sort of hidden frame but clicking or dragging over it nothing happens.... Thank You |
I dont think so have you got a screenie of it.:hmm:
|
Do you mean the stopwatch? You can click and drag that onto the screen if you wish.

i'll check it,
can i use Print-screen key to save an in-game image? |
ctrl + f11:up: Screenies are saved to the SH3 Program directory.
However, if you can't click & drag the stopwatch then there might be something wrong. |
Save your screenshots in jpeg format :arrgh!:

Seems to be a common question this one doesnt it, about the brown bar stop watch?
Looks like no one looks at the manual anymore when they first install GWX  |

How easy it would be to just answer 'RTFM!!!! :damn: ' in so many cases :D |
As well as the stopwatch another thing to look out for in GWX are the maps hidden away in the top left corner of the chartroom. There's one that is the map that comes with the game, showing the zone lettering, convoy routes etc, and another that gives the layouts of the harbours showing minefields and sub nets.
