GWX v1.02 Spy Sat Mod

Firstly, this mod is NOT supported by the GWX Devs.

If you're having problems please direct them my way on Subsim (danlisa).

This is a realism killer!

You need GWX & the 1.02 Patch

Be Warned there will be continued updates to the GWX RND layer so this will have to be adapted along the way.

Also with the increased graphics being rendered there maybe a small drop in performance. However I have not noticed this in testing.

This package is JSGME ready.

The usual applies:

Be in Port
Rollback SH3 Commander
Enable Spy Sat Mod

spy sat mod is an interesting one. Its good for people with little time or patiance on their hands or those who just feel like an arcade style patrol...
But play with it too much and it really makes the game boring after a while, as its just too much, i wish there was something inbetween, that showed more contacts than stock/gwx does, but not EVERYTHING like spy sat does. :oops:

Good point:up: I use this just because of the time factor. I have not gotten bored with it yet, beats patrolling for hours at a time for contacts.

SHGen is a nice compromise.

I am gald you updated this one. It makes expermentation much more enjoyable without droning around endlessly trying to find targets to check out "improvements" with :up:

You know, this is possible.

For example this mod changes the Report Probability to 100% & the Contact Update Time to 60mins.

There is no reason that we can't change the Report Probability to 75% & (example) half the Contact Update Time. (some are really high in the std RND).

I believe it's just a matter of balance.

At the very least, you won't have continual tracking of all convoys every 60 mins as you now have a 25% chance of not actually receiving any intel.

As the original creator of the Spy Sat mod I'm glad to see someone is still working on it. Sorry I didn't do it myself but time constraints of being in the military and having to move around a lot made it too difficult to keep up with it.
