OT: Being charged for game shadow
 

Did a reinstall yesterday day for sh3 and when I went to game shadow to install GWX it said that I had to sign up for an account, $40.00 per year. I thought that when I bought sh3 that it was supposed to be free. Just want to know if this has happened to anybody else before I wright a letter to game shadow.

Did an install of gameshadow couple of days ago and think i did read a clause they had about reserving the right to impose a charge in the future. Didn't think by future they meant next week! If they want money from me they better go to the back of the queue!:D

I see what you did. You chose to upgrade your account with them. If you subscribe for that $40 a year, you get no adds, 30 GB a month in downloads, enter in competitions and you get your pick of one of 4 software titles. *shrug* Unless they have a download limit and downloading GWX pushed you above their monthly limit ?
