Lazy Fritz
 

Oberleutnant Fritz Eberbach, my primary torpedo and watch officer, is a superb sailor and a fine officer, who excels at just about every aspect of his duty.

Except one.

Fritz is just about the laziest man in the Kriegsmarine. I like to submerge frequently and do hydrophone checks while on patrol. When we dive, 'Ol Fritz will leave his station at the bridge and curl up in his bunk with a book about the social habits of French girls. When we surface again, Fritz is blissfully asleep, and I have to physically go find the guy to wake him up and get him back up on the bridge.

Don't get me wrong, I love the guy (in a manly, Kriegsmarine way, not in some twisted Tommy sailor suit way) but can anyone give me a tip on how to get Fritz to take his watch station without me reminding him every single damn time?

simple
get some rope and tie him onto the conning tower
but ofcourse he will only last 1 patrol if you dive:rotfl:

I get this all the time with my WO. I think it's a stock game thingy though...

Very true; there will never be an officer automatically assigned to the bridge watch. Also, machinist-rated petty officers and regular enlisted men switch back and forth to the engine and motor rooms, but non-rated or non-machinest-rated POs will not. Ever.

SH4 looks to have that problem fixed.

well if the smell will get rid of DD's dont you think the crew will go nuts too ?

Hehe, lucky me, 'cause me brand new spanking XXI has showers, wash basins and a food freezer :D. But yeah, my watch officer (I don't associate names to faces) is as lazy too, but he always gets back to watch after I give him a good bawling :D

i just realised that we are talking about LAZY fritz. i quess he is too lazy to smell;)
