Illegal aliens are killing more Americans than the Iraq war, says a new report from Family Security Matters that estimates some 2,158 murders are committed every year by illegal aliens in the U.S. The group says that number is more than 15 percent of all the murders reported by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the U.S. and about three times the representation of illegal aliens in the general population....

on a more serious note though, things are becoming more complicated in America and UK concidering immigration. Its got to the point here in the UK where the illegal immigrants have more liberties then we do :-?

Not sure if that's such a relaible news source. I'd be interested to know how many murders are committed by non-illegals.

Anyway, I found out how the murder rate figure is calculated...

The murder rate caused by illegal aliens is purely speculative, it's actually not known. It's an estimate based on the murder rates of the countries where they come from, using those rates and calculating that against the number of illegals in America. A load of BS if you ask me, and obviously invalid for anyone who knows anything about sociology and how to spin statistics.

I don't believe you are correct. The figures as stated come from the FBI. The news source is also not the on claiming the figures. Read the article again.

Probably. What other figures can we come up with? I dunno. The incarcerations however probably are spot on, so it is hard to dispute that.
