Run setup.exe.

Nokia 02-22-07 01:28 PM

That doesn't work either

Gizzmoe 02-22-07 01:31 PM

Is there an error message? What exactly happens when you start setup.exe?

Nokia 02-22-07 01:33 PM

It says something like H:\setup.exe is not a walid Win32 application or something

Do you have any problems with other cd's or just this one?

Gizzmoe 02-22-07 01:43 PM

This could have different causes. Try some of the following:

Reboot your PC, then try it again.

Delete everything thatīs in \Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\temp.

Delete the DVD drive from the Hardware Manager, reboot, then XP redetects the drive, perhaps it works after that.

Try another CD/DVD.

Remove Starforce:

We had dozens of people with SF-related problems here in the past, we try and help every one of them. The only thing thatīs taboo is to inform people how to circumvent SF or other copy protections.
