SHKVAL Lwami 3.07 problem?

Hi to all
(Scusme my english grammar)
I tested launch more SHKVAL studing for a Lwami 3.07 changes.
1./ Why SHKVAL the maximun lange is 9999 mts?
2./ When my akula is on the 100 mts I shoot SHKVAL equal profundity (100 mts)
In more launched times .... at that profundity the SHKVAL ever go up +-30 mts :o
Wy?
I ordered 100 mts in presests for a SHKVAL

Pd: To the team... This is a not great problem by your great work ... but why this?

These issues are in stock DW as well as LWAMI, I have just tested both.

In terms of the first issue, this is the run to enable range for the weapon, and this preset is the same as stock as well.

In terms of the depth issue, I have a suspicion that the interface is feeding the depth to the doctrine in feet without converting it, so I'll have to look at it. This is the same as stock DW.

While we're on the subject, how is the shkval able to propel itself to the RTE distance without using its rocket? Does the real weapon have a secondary propulsion system?

The main rocket is then fired and its gases are used to expand the initial partial cavity at the nose to create a supercavitating bubble along the torpedo's body.

Proabably because in DW it is in Knots, not Miles-per-Hour.:know:

If I recall correctly, 1kt = 1.15mph. So, 230mph = 200kts. Simple as that!

The Shkval in DW is the dumb version, runs straight warhead activates at a certain point and then proceeds until target and explodes.

I do not think we should have a guided version of SHKVAL although it is mentioned the Russians are developing or have developed a homing version AFAIK it has not been verified.

Russian forums are notoriously unreliable. Sorry to say many are fan boys who believe the manufacturer press releases.
