Bow planes on 688(I)

Hello all. Been awhile since I was on. Love the new mod. I was wondering the near/far future will there be a mod for the 688(I) so you can retract the bow planes like on the Seawolf? Just wondering?

Unfortunately, I cannot mod this... :dead:

Sorry. :)

I'm glad you are enjoying LWAMI!

Cheers,
David

Real I-boats retract for one reason: they're in port (or on the surface, same thing.)

That's probably why there's no mod for it. Not many missions happen in port.

I thought they retract bow planes because of ice when surfacing, when under ice pack..:smug:

No need to. Look where they're located. They never touch the ice.:know: That makes them "ice capable":yep:

I have noticed in DW that seawolf has it, but does it have say, Virginia or Typhoon?
The Russians love ice a lot.... :smug:

The Virginia isn't even modeled in the game, and the Typhoon is in the game, but not playable.:know:

I mean it in real life scenario...:damn:

Since someone noted that planes are retracted in ports, I guess pretty much all subs can retract them.

Thnx, Skip!
Now I know when to hijack, say, an Ohio....:arrgh!:
