TOP GEAR

I just watched the Sunday repeat on the U.S.A special, what can I say? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Same here Steed.
The hicks it Alambama were off the reservation. And the cow on top of the car.
It great to see the show back with all three presenters.

It was a wonderful show; definitely one of the best. The Big Stig :D LOL

Bort 02-14-07 04:11 PM

I saw it online, as they don't show Top Gear here in the US:down: And I must say, this is the best episode I have seen yet, absolutely hilarious and as entertaining as anything I've seen on TV for a long time. I'm very ashamed of the behavior of those rednecks in Alabama, what morons:damn: I hope that those foreigners that saw the attack and have never been to the US before realize that most of America is nothing like that, and basically the Top Gear team visited a part of our country that is in no way necessarily representative of the rest of the USA, and that had they made their way through say, the Midwest, things would have been very different. Still, such a dramatic culture clash as Englishmen venturing into the deep south has side splitting results!

BTW, if anyone wants to see the attack of the Alabamians-here it is>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKBE2XQTfDQ

I prefer Monty Python. I'm more into historical documentaries myself.

Bort 02-14-07 04:40 PM

I'm a huge fan of Python as well (I have all the Flying Circus episodes on DVD) but Top Gear is the simply the best thing going on TV right now.

I too just watched the repeat as I missed it on Sunday night. Excellent. Thank god there is no such thing as smellavision because that dead cow would have been shocking. I'm not sure how Jeremey Clarkson managed to drive that car with cow juice all over it.

And yes Steed you are right about the U.S.A. No one should draw any conclusions about that country just from that bunch of nutters at the petrol station. I too visited America back in the early 90's and it was a fantastic experience.

Notice credits. :D

many criticise it more love it.

i love the show a great refreshing hour every week, really odd that the bbc defends it completely from attacks from various groups. any other programme would have been forced to change.

Dont worry, we all know. They didnt pick that part of America by chance. :rotfl:

That is great, I wish I had seen the whole program.

At first I thought some of it was setup but obviously not......

People keep posting the whole program on YouTube but it keeps getting taken down. If you get an opportunity to see it, you wont be disappointed:up:
