Since I got a few PM's on this, I'll explain.

I took crew from the weapons crew dat file,
also the weapons crew tga.

The cap is the floppy cap Re-UVed so it uses the weapons crew tga.
Then added to the pilot obj file.

Then I re-worked the skin in Paintshop Pro.
(They sport Leather flight jackets now too.)

Since you won't see them often or that close, I reduced the tga
by 20% to reduce the file size.

The crew is optimized also for file size reduction.

Nice, there seems to be a new fad going on lately with faces and personnel mods. I am very pleased.

As the K-Ship is infact as large as most ships in Game,
(And larger then alot!)
I couldn't leave it unmanned.
And with DivingDuck and Ref pointing out to me how to
get the glass transparent it's a MUST have.

The weapons crew is properly scaled and makes a good reference point
also.

They have also had arms and legs adjusted as needed to look more at home.

To give you an Idea of scale, the crew car, or Gondola, was over 40 feet long
on the K.

Sailor Steve 02-14-07 01:10 PM

The last of the K-types were 266 feet long overall.

Oh. A USN Blimp. :rotfl:

Woof1701 02-16-07 03:37 AM

I never heard of the USN using blimps to patrol, search and even attack uboats. Sounds to me like a suicide mission. After all a blimp is a slow and large target. How come that only one was shot down?

They were used mainly to spot the U-boat and call in the real killers.

Here's a link to the Story of the K-74,
the only Blimp lost to Enemy Gunfire.
