USCGC Storis decommisioned after 64 years of service

The Storis, an amazing icebreaking vessel was finally decommissioned on Thursday after a career that included fighting the Nazis as part of the Greenland patrol, traveling the Northwest passage, and saving countless lives. What a ship!

I can't imagine any other ship more deserving of a nice, relaxing retirement. Here's hoping she ends up a museum!:()1:
