Authentic U-Boat Oil

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/U534-German-Ub...QQcmdZViewItem

I cant see why anyone would want this! :rotfl:

They should try selling "u-boat barnacles" or "U-boat rust"as well!

I don't know, maybe if you're a serious sub-buff, or if you had family that served on board a German Sub. I could see it.

For that complete Silent Hunter III experience perhaps. :hmm: When a depth charge hits close by perhaps you could splash a bit of that authentic u-boat oil over your keyboard or monitor. :o

Oil or otherwise, it's still a piece of history. Many history buffs or other enthusiasts would love to have Genuine U534 lube oil, extracted from a tank onboard U534 after nearly fifty years beneath the sea. Although it reads that it comes with a certificate of authenticity, I don't believe it for a minute. It's likely oil extracted from someone's little 4-stroke Honda outboard motor. :)

One of the characters in Peanuts once came up with a get-rich scheme: Just mix this powder with water and voila! Instant Water!

Couple of years ago a former worker I knew tried to sell a pair of used underpants with a hole in them from all the farting he done, he got a bid of £300 but ebay pulled the plug.

Someone sold three bottles of wind from hurricane Katrina on Ebay. It went for $3.50:o Proof that there is a fool for anything.

The Australian Secuirty and Investment Commision (ASIC) runs a bunch of ad's every April fool's for Jellyfish farms and other crazy idea's. The same phone number is listed in each advert, which leads them the the ASIC investor help line, so they can be told that there a fool! They keep track on which avert works best. The Jellyfish beats the funnelweb spider breeding program by a 3% margin!
