Franklin mint German U boat
 
Franklin mint German u boat---Rare as these are there is actully one ..2 towns over at a store I forgot how much it was but know it is a rare find -next time i get down that way i will get price/u boat number etc etc etc on that.... if i dont get it for myself is there anyone intrested in that piece? I do own quite a few german aircraft from them all diecast metal nice stuff


{i do believe it has been sitting there for a few years and is price is a few years old too} to be continued,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Interesting find Codmander. I've never seen one offered by Franklin Mint before. If you can get a picture of it, that would be great.

yea I will i have a little pc camera next time i am over that way for sure look in on it -((last time was around christmas))-see if it still there was a type 9 if i am not mistaken with a -cut out- crew climbing down ladders and could see the interior nice piece --rare

Franklin Mint, lets see. I have over 30 of the cars. 15 of the aircraft by Armour(owned by Franlin Mint). I have seen an American sub but it is pricey. Something like $350.00. I think the aircraft carrier is $450.00. You can get with monthy payments.

Who would pay such a price for die-cast model ships and subs.much cheaper to build your own.

Thats what I thought at first, its definitly pricey. But then I noticed that its signed by the captain, so I'm sure that is most of the price right there.

hi again i had to go there today and see but to my surprise I saw no uboat ask the sales man where it went and he didnt seem to know had a model there of a VIIC/41 ((PIC)) but that was it bunch of aircraft carriers,battleships and planes but that u boat was gone:cry:

I saw the Uboat by Revell last year for 69.00 in a hobby shop but didn't get that day. Went back 2 days later and it was gone. :cry:

You can get that model online. I want it also. It is either feed the kids or get the model ..hmmmmm! No I could not do that. I'll feed the kids.
