Pacific Storm Allies Gold in Russia
Word from Lesta Studios indicates that "Pacific Storm Allies" the "standalone add-on"? for Pacific Storm has gone Gold in Russia. They are now busy translating the game and manuals for a Western release, hopefully some time pre-summer. In addition, Lesta has released a 121 MB movie pack showing the greatly enhanced detail in the new product. You can download it from Gamers Hell... http://www.gamershell.com/download_17602.shtml |
And this is the DVD box for Russian release.

I never really saw anything in PS. if it combined its gameplay with BS midways graphics then there might have been a damn good game but as it stands it just doesnt really cut it... The thing that got me the most was the effects on the ships cannons. There was never any "Boom" to them.. they might as well have fired BB guns :-?

As I said before, I have already paid for PS so I must wait until this is in the bargain bin.

we meet aagin Mr. KiloAlpha . i have to say that apart from the pretty crappy amount of allied units coming along in the "allies" expanison, the game as a whole is looking better and better. especially as BS:Midway has fallen on its face now
