Help for a newbie!

Hi Guys,
I have Silent Hunter III and have downloaded the fab Grey Wolves mod pack! Well done to all by the way. My question is this: Do i have to buy Seawolves? expansion pack and will it make a difference to the above installed....or is it not necessary.
Thx

Hi and welcome to Subsim
GWX is far superior to Seawolves in every way
You dont need Seawolves
Nor can you add Seawolves to GWX

You can have Seawolves on a seperate install but why bother ?
If you need variety have a NYGM or WAC2 install
They are both free and better too

Welcome Matey :sunny:

No you do not have to buy Seawolves.

GWX has more content and is free.:up:

If you do want Seawolves then you should have a second installation of SH3 and run Seawolves on that.

My Suggestion - Stay with GWX it is far superior.:yep:

Edit - Oh bugger, what he said.:roll:

Seawolf=lots of $ spent.
GWX=$0.00 and great fun.

Case closed.

See you on the high seas:up:

In a nice big IX Boat I hope. ;) :up:

Hey Steed, yeah i hope so too...would it be best to start with a type IIA and work my way up? Ive just posted about U-Boat type introduction...any thoughts would be great!

Do not buy Seawoves. GWX does the trick and a lot more because it's made by people who actually use SH3 and love the game. Kpt. Lehmann and his team did a great work. Check it out.

Hey, f16falcon, dont get lured into the evil net of the IX-boys! Come join us merry men of the Type VII! :D

Welcome to SubSim!

(Sorry mate, you have registered at a site you from now on will visit every day, so forget your old life! :rotfl:)

Edit: Yeah, go with GWX, its the best thing since beer

Kpt. Kozloff 02-01-07 07:14 PM

Right on!
VIIb's are the fastest and most agile. Prien and Kretschmer commanded these. No doubt, the most succesful boats.

stabiz 02-01-07 07:24 PM

And dont forget Dönitz himself had a soft spot for the VII!

(Eat that Ducimus and Danlisa! :arrgh!:)
