No map updates - no ship wrecks marked
 

Hi, just wondered if there is a way of showing the sunken ships on the map while using "No Map Updates" option? :-?

Me too. I'd like to have the sunk ships icons, but am not willing to switch "no map updates" off.

I have no idea how (if it is possible) to do it, but I would suggest as an alternative to use the marker and place a mark on the spot. It's not the same I know but I guess it's a solution

Trouble with that is the screen gets rather cluttered & if I hit the eraser - all gone!:cry:

How many dozen ships do you normally sink per patrol ?:o :up:

Probably only a half dozen,:up: but just looks like I've done something with the wrecks marked on screen, maybe a small mod can be used to place shipwreck symbol manually on map?:yep:

IIRC there was a thread with a suggestion on how to do this...but it was 3 or 4 months ago :hmm:
