Credit goes here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=104612
These are actual, underwater sounds. Some examples are German electric and steam torpedoes, and of depth charges at various distances. Some of the sounds are rare, combat recordings! This is a must site to go and listen to!! |
Impressive site! recording i personally thought was a bit hmm, but it is original!
As an aside, your first career happens to have the same name as one of my WaW careers, walter Heller of the 29th Flotille out of La Spezia. Died not 15 minutes ago, crushed at 497m |

Wow! Very Impressive!

I spent over 1 hour going through this stuff. F'ing cool:up: The attacks are not the best quality, but still give a great impression of what was going on. What was impressed on me was that the sailors in the recording were soo calm and business like--even though they were attacking two Japanese BB's. The tanker attack is pretty awesome also.
The training recordings for sonar opporators was pretty cool also. It's interesting hearing the actuall sounds that subs made--and the variety which they made. Great link. J |
I might have heard and spotted my first dolphins EVER since I have this game... :smug:
But that's a nice find! |
I found this a while ago- I guess I'm an ******* for not sharing it back then...
