Happened to me too. Quite annoying, but the bug was gone after I started a new mission.
Reloading a savegame might help as well I can imagine. |
No it didnt helped, but starting a new mission is not tried yet, but will soon.

Johan, have you been depth charged on this patrol? Does your soundman report contacts? Maybe hydrophone is damaged.
|
No herr Kaleun, the sonar man works with it quiete well, but when I wanna listen somehow he quickly manage to lock it somehow.
Maybe he is a traitor, but he does actually a good job, never had such good one.:p So, no damage at the phones.. still puzzled. :damn: |
It was the same with mine on the first patrol. I have the malfunctions and sabotge setting activated in SHIII Commander, so I wasn't sure if it was that or the fact that I had the early war hydrophone which is located either side of the bow. Not sure if the early version is suposed to rotate or not, maybe others can say. It moved as it should after I upgraded to the 'T' shaped one on the foredeck before starting the second patrol.

It happen to me alot of times. What causes this problem is if you take any damage and then save this will happen. I do not save anymore for this is one of the reasons, plus others with that bug for saved games. You will have to return to port for it to correct it self. Hpoe this helps, I was of the people in the original post months ago when this topic came up.
