FRAPS Shots of Barrage Ballons
It's a 6.6 meg 7z file! :o
I'm just getting FRAPS to grap like 15 seconds of action at a time and files are pretty large. Any advise to decrease the file sizes so I can share the shots better? It's the free version for now. http://files.filefront.com/Clip17z/;.../fileinfo.html EDIT: 2nd file added. Size around 5 Meg http://files.filefront.com/Clip27z/;.../fileinfo.html |
What the.....These are AVI files?? (you said they were screenshots idi you not ) anyway niether WMP or Real player will play them, both give an error message saying they need a codec which isnt available, which codec do i need if any????
Both my media player and real player are up to date too.:shifty: I think you should use an image editing application to make the pics smaller then upload them to something like photobucket.com |
You need to install Fraps to watch them, they need the Fraps codec.
priater, you should recompress them with the XviD codec: http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml You also need VirtualDub (http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net) or a similar program to actually recompress them. After you´ve installed XviD and VirtualDub start VD, open the avi, go to Video/Compress, select Xvid (there should be two entries, select the one that says "FourCC code: xvid" at the right side of the window), click Configure. In the configuration window change the following: Profile @ Level: Advanced Simple @ L5 Encoding type: Single Pass Target quantizer: 3 Click Other Options, set "FourCC used" to DivX. After you´ve made all changes close the window by clicking OK. Select File/Save as AVI, enter a filename, click Save and wait until it´s finished. If you only wanna post screenshots use the Screenshot feature of Fraps and not the Movie feature. |
Unedited fraps footage can be wayched with winamp, guys.

Yes, these are MOVIES.
@Gizzmoe installed your advice. Still playing with it but at least they are around 1 or 2 meg now. Going for movies. I'd do ctrl + F11 if I wanted more screen shots. Thanks |
