I'm so confused
 

I just started a career in the 10th flotilla out of Penang. My first patrol says to go to grid Bengalen. So i've been cruising all over the Golf von Bengalen, but it never says i've arrived on the mission objectives. :damn: Am I in the right spot? Where do I need to patrol for it to register?

I've yet to head over to the far-east yet but my understanding is that you will not receive renown or recognition for arriving at, or patroling in, your assigned grid in this region.

IRONxMortlock is correct. Though, if you know how, you can always give yourself renown for arriving and patroling your grid if you want (I believe directions for that are in the SH3 community manual).

Just to clarify, because the additional flotillas which were added by GWX are not part of the original SH3 grid system it was impossible to apply specific patrol locations and actually have SH3 award renown for arriving/completing your patrol orders.

Limitations of the code, don't you know.;)
