I don't have the old gang anymore they moved away or grew up.
Now I gotta play Army with jokers half my age. It comes as a hard shock to them when this 45 year old takes down 2/3 of opposing forces. yeah... nothing beats experience and treachery... nothing :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: |
This produced alot of memories of being a kid in southern England.
Thansk alot for posting it. :yep::up: |
We played the Army with fireworks
the roman candles that shoot those small balls of fire in colour in the nearby forest...pitch dark. My mom wasnt happy how my jacket looked like when I came home :rotfl: |
Those were the days.

Our Army games were legendary. We had a lot of woods to cover.

Time for a real story, many, many years ago back in the lazy 1970's.
Get to the point. Alright I will, back in primary school I was in a gang of 5 or 7 and we had water pistols and soon word reach the ears of the teachers and one day in assembly one of the head teachers stood up and started to have ago at us. Along the lines of there is a gang of terrorist out there gunning other children down with water pistols and they had not got the guts to come forward and admit it, and you know what we did? Yes we all stood up and handed are water pistols in to this now red faced teacher, and at lunch time we all went to the shop and bought replacements. After a while we upgraded to spud guns. ;) |
