SH3 Cmdr problem
i was just going too start up SH3 (GWX) via SH3 commander when i noticed that i couldn press the "launch SH3 button"
i havent modifyed SH3 or anything what could be wrong ? |
That's odd. Are you sure your SH3Cmd is looking at the correct directory (i.e. do you have multiple installations?)

OK I see the problem now. Your captain is dead so you cannot load him up again. Why don't you try generating a new career and see if you can lunch GWX. If you cannot then we have a problem. If you can then it's because your guy has left us that you cannot fire up GWX;)

Well, the answer is deceptively simple...
You are dead. It shows you were 'lost at sea' and therefore it will not go any further... You can get out of that by going into the regular game, loading a save before it...finishing out that patrol, and then it should let you back in. UNLESS you have never really started a career...and as I recall, you have to do something before you can use it... NealT:yep: |
it did not work on a live career:shifty:
this has happend to me before *edit* hmm....now it does work:hmm: |
OK then let's take it from the beginig:
1. Did you installed any mods while you were at sea? 2. Did you installed any mod without rolling back SH3Cmd? If both answers are no I would suggest to uninstall SH3Cmd, reinstall it and try again. |
no
no its working again just sometimes it does that to me no matter if hes alive |

fact is that its working that means i can still sink ships |
:hmm: odd one that
Obviously it wont load up a dead or surrendered career The install is following the right path So do you still get it now and again where you cant load even with a " live " career ? |
yea
sometimes it just wont let me load it up (live career) mostly it will though |
What version of SH3commander are you running ?
