What Sub SIM is this from G2 Games
 

Hello all,

I just went to G2 Games website and found this:

It implies that this Subsim is an improvement to something but it does not state if it really is an update to something excisting or not.


Looks to me like a SILENT HUNTER III Clone.

Any comments?

GWX, NYGM etc are all far better.....and FREE!

That's what I thought but I saw no mention of SH3 anywhere.

I would think it would be hard to sell an expansion to a Sim if you don't mention the Sim it's for.

Lol, looking at the screenshots I realised they also stole one of the earliest hi res smoke mods. BTW, whats with the implivations of skippering a Gato in the bottom shots?

I don't really understand as well. You only command German subs (I guess) but the text is a bit messy and gives the wrong impression :hmm:

Its a pretty much obsolete add-on by the standards of most if the free mods.

It was released long before the GWX or NYGM mods came out.Since then the mods have improved and more has been fixed etc...So the free mods are the way to go.

And guys lets not get into the same X1 this and X1 that crap again..this is old news that if anyone wants the full story they can do a search on the site for it.Its been talked about to death and is getting quite old to still hear people harping on about it.Its done and over and there is nothing you or anyone can do about it so just drop it.
