Well today ive found out that our base is moving from hackney in london to edmunton the result is that 20% of us will loose our jobs because of the loss of contract, now why do i thank tony blair for this?

Simple!

The job i do is a non skilled job means that any one can do it and all i do is load bags and bins onto a lorry yes thats correct im a dustman.

80% of the people i work with earn alot less than me and lately theres been up roar over pay, i earn £9.78 an hour doing this job, the guy next to me who is probably african or from eastern europe earns just £6.13 an hour.
Theres 112 people i work with all but 18 of then are english and all the english people are now too loose thier jobs, but the catch is theres squat we can do about it.

The jobs lost will be re taken by forigners willing to work for £6.00 an hour in about 6 months time when they open thier new contract while us english lot have to que up in the benifit office looking for work, and then have all the people who do work look at us and say get a job stop sponging of the state.

Perhapse if i actualy took mr blair round the back of a dark alley and gave him a good hiding do you think he will listen? no of corse not cheap labour is good for buisness.

Just another thing labour has achieved in 10 years.

OK but just working a few things out.

There are 112 people at the base. 20% will lose jobs so that's 22.4 people.

You say all but 18 are English, so 94 of the workers are English the rest foreign. So even if they sack 18 of the 94 english workers there will still be more english workers that foreign.

Also if 80% earn a lot less than you that probably includes quite a few of the English workers

You're making assupmtions which seem straight out of the Daily Mail.

They shouldn't be called the "Labour" party then! :-?

The Labour party used to represent the working man but turned there back on us years ago.
They turned into the Tory Party, they even evade direct questions in the same style as the Tory's when they were in power. Only the faces change !

I don't see much happen down here so I will be keeping an eye on Scotland in May, it would be a black day for Labour if the SNP hit them real hard in the ballet box.

Well Kapitan you wrote the figures you wrote and I just did the maths.

Look what you wrote and you will see where I got my figures from.
Also as this is an open forum I am entitled to write what I feel.

That reads that 18 are foreign the rest English, so if that is wrong, change it.

I can't help it if you write things back to front. I also don't think you can just blame Tony Blair for all this. He is just continuing what the Tories started just as the Lib Dems would had they been able to get into power.

Also as for the SNP in Scotland, I won't be voting for them. Bunch of idiots with no more of a clue than Labour or the Tories, if anything they will ruin the UK should the ever get Scottish independence.
