Harbour defences
 

Im just wondering why don't the land gun emplacements show up on the map any longer.?

no idea mate :cry: Perosnally Ive never got any land defences to shoot at me, not for love nor money.

I think Rubini messed with the files for the land units so you dont get the camera "bounce" when you come across them any more
Not sure if that stops them being shown on map

Yes the camera bounce so to speak is a by product of the 1.4b patch IIRC

Lucky me Igot external cam enabled am not 100% realist but sh*t and I do a lot of harbour raids and it looks to me nearly all harbours have got them plus the AA batteries

Yes, all ports have land defenses on GWX, mainly the more important ports. They are deadly if you be detected. Take care!

And to fix that camera bug the land units aren´t more visible on the map what is not a problem.;)

When I was a kid, we used to hang out on the WWII harbour defences here in St. John's. I wouldn't go near them in a surfaced sub.
