sh4 movies
has anyone notice that the some of the game has the same things has sh3
Like a submarine, water and sky?
Not sure, but I think they took the idea of having Ships as well:rotfl:
I definitely saw crew members.
Do you mean like the same floating crates and identical harbours?
Yup. Much of it is probably just placeholders. Actually, Ubisoft promises a "special display mode" that's supposed to, paraphrased, "make the game look like a World War II movie". This could be it. |
I distinctly saw those little thingys coming out of the bow a sub trailing lots of bubbles....just like SH3!
I hope to see a red headed crew member this time, not just the the blond north German or the dark Bavarian like in SHII. Maybe we`ll even see the the black chef:)
I MEAN the torp cam
That's to be expected. SH4 may be a major upgrade, but it's not a whole new game. Most of the procedures will be the same.
I agree. By deciding to enhance the existing game engine, the DEVS were able to make significant visual improvements to SH4 and still deliver it in the Spring of 2007. It's a no brainer that some of the generic elements will be the same as SH3.
More accurately, it's a new game based on (an improved version of) the same engine - a standard practice, and one we should encourage too. If it worked in SHIII, no reason it can't be kept in SHIV! I think it's great, since it lets the devs focus mostly on the important parts.
That said, though, my impression is that SHIII wasn't based on an ORIGINAL engine per se, but rather an engine that Ubi owns (not sure who developed it). I know there is a flying game based on a version of the same exact engine (I forget the title). |
Would the black steward be PC?
It's a Work-in-Progress, and things may still change.
I doubt the Event Camera will change much, though. Maybe you'll be able to drag the picture-in-picture window around the screen or re-size it, and maybe it could even be a slide-out (which'd be great), but I doubt changes are that severe. |
