How the hell did u rank up and get medals that fast?

AZN... I have no idea.

I played the agressive role...got promoted after first patrol to Oberleutant. You can see by the file what and where I got the glory.

The heavy take on tons...patrol 6 (85K) was the result of a raid on Scapa Flow and sacking the carrier Victorious...of course I promptly evaded and went on to further sinkings of His Majesty's Fleet. BdU invited me for dinner when I got back to port and kissed me! LOL

I play at 67%...I kept the WO...if he's on board he's going to earn his keep. I kept outside view for the eye candy. Limited everything, duds, realistic damage and realistic reload times. I treat my crew well and promote them and award medals to increase their effiecincy. Through SH3Commander, I also have the crew rotated out so I have a newbie almost every patrol to break in...keeps it interesting.

Of course they're short...I drive a TypeVII! You OTOH like the IX so you can go far far away!

TypeVII's were a mid Atlantic boat, max. I run most of the time with engines at 1/3 to conserve fuel...sprint for the attacks and hope I have enough to get home! (Bessel and Thalia are handy!)

In real boating life I practice 1/3 fuel out....1/3 fuel back...1/3 fuel reserve. I try to use this in GWX.

Must be the way i play i guess. I mean, in a type VII, my patrols are usually like 20-30 days. On the otherhand, my little stint in the med did produce some amazingly short patrols. :roll:

At that rate you will have an elete crew the end of 1940 if not before,not bad losses neither I lost 12 cremembers last patol but that was in mid 44 and my map didn't show any planes when I surfaced stupid me:nope:
