Band and choice of music
 

Found a nice mp3 track, 'Alte Kameraden' 4.4mb and was wondering if it was possible to get the Band to play this instead as I leave the harbour ?

its FANFARA in the sound folder..

You need to convert it to .wav format and change the name to fanfara01 (I think). Just look at the file that's already there to make sure the name is correct. My band plays 'Muss I Denn', from Das Boot.

I kept some notes on this from a previous post. I can't vouch for the veracity of this information, as I haven't tried it yet (but intend to):

In C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Sound
The sound you want is Fanfara_01
Place your own tune in the folder and rename to Fanfara_01
Your tune needs to be in WAV format
Bit rate 352kbps
Audio sample size 16 bit
Channels 1(mono)
Audio sample rate 22kHz
Audio format PCM

Thanks, managed to put it in but haven't checked the bit rate. I converted to WAV then renamed it and clicked it in the Sound folder and plays no problem. Will try it when I get r/l work out of the way as I'm starting a(nother) new career..
playing DiD and my last career lasted 1 patrol .. verdammt !
