GWX-Med-Salamis Sensors?

Coming into or leaving Salamis I get unusual sensor readings :hmm:

The same detection happens if I am surfaced with my Watch Officer on deck.

I am running GWX, 16k, Int Tools, SHCom2.7, and 6 dials for gwx.

Doesn't bug me, I love the Med for now, especially after the N Atl.

Something you have added has broken the GWX sensors.:stare:
You shouldn't be getting red lines for anything in GWX.

Thanks Kpt.

Along with my 6 dials by pokara, I JASGME installed his colored contacts. I have gone back and examined this mod manually and it just seems to be .tga files (my red lines, etc). I am not clear how changing .tga files could effect the sensors to pick up ships the other side of the peninsula.

IIRC - SH3's sensors have always been able to 'see' through land. Stock Bug???

Or did GWX correct this?

It's a stock problem with sh3, the engine doesn't take terrain into account for the sensors.

Thanks Ref,

I guess I looked at it too quickly... for a moment I thought he'd given the sensors much farther range.

Not only the sensors, if you're detected by an enemy ship and you have land inbetween the enemy plots a direct course to intercept... across land, I've seen them a couple of times hitting land ahead flank :rotfl:

Thanks Guys  :D . I took a look at that peninsula with the God cam, and it is mighty low.... And, no Kpt., if I'd messed with my sensors I would have mentioned it  . I love GWX too much to do anything I don't think I understand....

It doesn't matter if it's high or low terrain, dive to pd and check the hydrophones, you'll be able to listen to the other ships across land :nope:
