Torpedo runtime?
 

Commanders, can anyone help me find out how I obtain tne torpedo runtime. I am looking through my periscope at an incoming dd, is it displayed on the stop watch or what? Is a matter of setting up an option before I start the game? Any help will be appreciated.

If I remember correctly, and forgive me if I didn't, it's shown on the map in the TDC when you've locked a target. I think I've seen a time displayed there.

Look at the stop watch. The runtime is displayed there. When the hand stops the torp is finished if it hasn't hit anyting.

Once you've locked onto your target, using either of your 'scopes or UZO, press F6. Zoom in or out in order to see, but you'll be able to see the run time of the selected torpedo on the small map there. For steamers, as you change their speed setting you'll also see the run times change for that, too.

Correct, but then you're assuming you've already fired the torpedo, right? Should you now want to know how long it is going to take to get to the target before you fire it, the TDC has the answer.
