Flottillas
 

i read the manual for gwx and am a bit confused here.
Im presently in the 2 Flottilla at Lorient Nov 42 what Ive read is the 10th Flottilla will be soon operational from Lorient and later there home base is transfered to Penang and then Jakara,.Now then if I stay in the 2nd flottilla do I as before in 44 get transfer to Bergan? So if I want to do a stint in Penang do I have to transfer to the 10th first or can I go from the 2nd.

Think of a flotilla as a career path.

-If you want a normal long range patrol career, mixed with some drumbeating, then the 2nd flot is the way to go.

-If you want long range patrols in the south atlantic, the the 12th is the home your looking for.

-If you want to do a little drumbeating, then head to the indian ocean, then the 10th is the way to go.

Now that said, you dont HAVE to be in the 10th to go to penang. All you need is a uboat with the fuel capacity to make the trip, either to penang, or to the supply ship brake. The only difference is, is that penang will not be your home port, so you wont be able to upgrade your uboat.
