Forgive my ignorance but how do you type in messages during the battles?

The Noob 12-31-06 05:51 PM

"Y" (or "Z" maybe) for chat to everyone on the server and "U" for chat to your own team.

Much fun in dods, one of my favorite games. :D

Now that you know the right answer, try my method:

Press "Alt+F4".

You can also get a headset and use voice if you want to.

i'll probably never get the headset just because I can rarely understand what people are saying on them, not sure if they didn't set it up right or what but its usually just a blurb of sound.

Yeah some people just get a mic wich sucks and thus you cant understand a thing. Also the in-game voice kinda sucks too, but you get used to it.

It's way better if you know people you meet with online, then you can use teamspeak wich gives crisp clear quality. But you gotta be a bit nerdy to go that far lol.

Lately I've been playing on wolfman jacks server but I don't think it'll ever come down to team speak. We settle for typing it out. Stop by there sometime, maybe I can get you in my sights

Okay, i still wish you a Good Game without getting killed while typing..
