GWX has done it again!
 

I grabbed the IXB Donitz was offering for my first patrol. As I motored out of port and hit the bay, I decided to submerge and see how fast this tub will do it. I never screwed with the IXB. Anyway, I submerged and jumped on the hydrophones. I hear something at 10 degrees starboard. It was faint as my electric motors were going. I asked for full stop to listen. I keep hearing electric motor noises. I look at the helm and it shows motors stopped. But I keep hearing electric motors just like mine:o :o :o OMFG there is a submerged sub around me.:o :o Friend or Foe?

You GWX boys just keep on surprising me!!!!! As I'm typing this I still don't believe what I was hearing. Unbelievable! You guys:rock:

I know, they have done an absolutely awesome job.

Ive not seen a brit sub yet in the game but I ran into a few convoys with a VIIC dead centre inside,and the ironic thing is there were Tankers all over the place and the AI sub did not fire once,unfortunatly I took aim on a medium tanker and missed and destroyed the u-boat.

Yep i was ok but it made me breach the surface and it was not a preety sight.:up:

I had a convoy attack yesterday, and as soon as I pulled back I saw three or four VII`s gathering around the convoy. Very good for immersion.

I also met up with a small convoy once, that was very badly shot up. At first I thought it was weather damage, but later I saw they were smudged up by deck gun fire.
