The medic
Quick question here..... is there any point in having him, and if so, how do I use him when my crew gets a couple of holes in them?
|
i think fatigue recovers faster when hes around (same "room" as them)
|
Yes, fatigue heals faster and I believe he has a positive effect on wounded crewmen.
|
If you have a wounded man, stick him in the same compartment as the Doctor and he will heal
|
The old Doc helps with fatique(shot of schnapps) and helps the wounded.
|
If I have too much crew in quarters, I put the others in an unused space (electric if using diesels & diesels if using electric) and put the medic in with them.. They don't seem to fatigue as quickly..
Since I rarely need a medic (my guys usually die outright :x ), I transfered my medic qualified petty officer & picked up a newbie that I qual'd as a flak gunner. One of my officers is also a medic & he can play that part as well.. Good Luck!! |
Let's just hope his boarding pass don't say "Dr. Doolittle" :rotfl: :arrgh!:

@Captain Stabbing
Where abouts do you live in BC? |
I also thought it would be helpfull to have a medic in both quarters.
Still learning the game playing single missions and haven't ventured a carrer yet. Dang fatigue rotations are driving me nuts. |

Of course you still need the medic to heal a wound. |
I live dead smack on top of the Malahat on the west coast of Vancouver Island

I never found any use for him I have only had 1 time my crew were wounded and when I returned to base the game said am dead.I consider him and that stupid NCO with the watchman qualification totally useless.
|
The qualificatin I find of no use/benefit is 'Helmsman' :arrgh!:
