GWX - Missing Conning Tower Emblem

Not sure if anyone else has had the same problem, but since installing GWX for some reason and regardless of whatever sub emblem I choose, the conning tower looks like this;

Any reason for this? And is there a fix for it?

i got this the first time I loaded GWX, but it worked after I loaded the 16km vis mod and integrated orders. dunno if they had anything to do with it. I suspect not. have you DL the Dec 23rd patches? It might also be that.

Hi!

This is a known GWX problem - a fix is being prepared.

I have a quick question speaking of conning tower emblems. How would I go about putting my Flotilla emblem on the nose of the tower and keeping my personal on the side. I know this isn't qute accurate but would like to do this on my own. Unless someone knows how to do it and could show/tell me how.

You cant
The towers only have the one point to attach an emblem

He can if he knows how to edit the U-Boat skins.

You could put one on the front of your conning tower in the TGA file. However, you need to know that this will be mirrored as the TGA file is duplicated for the other side of the boat. Then you could add a second emblem via the usual route.

Well yeah you can hard paint one on the skin but then you will need to change skin every time you change flotilla
Can be done that way yes

I'm not that talented, was just curious if it was possible to do it.

Goose_green 12-27-06 08:29 PM

Someone has done it. I have seen a screenshot from the Ubi forum with Erich Topp's Red Devils motiff in the correct place at the front of the conning tower. Not sure how it was done, but the result was very good though.

That's been done by editing the boat's skin.:yep:
