AG124: Missing NCHH and NPRT
 

AG124, I was wondering if there is a good reason why your NCHH Chatham Hospital Ship and NPRT Proteus Class Collier did not make the final list of GWX ships? The Chatham Transport is there, as is your new Lightship, which were released at about the same time as these other ships. I just wondered if there was a damage-model related issue with these missing two ships. If not, I was thinking about adding them to GWX, even though they haven't been scripted or properly damage-modeled. If this is not recommended, I would appreciate your thoughts on the matter. Thx

The Chatham Hosp ship was removed as now the only Hosp ship is the lit on
Hosp ships shouldnt be darkened and there isnt a great deal of dif between that and the Chatham transport so no point in having them both for one job

The Collier was too late to be included but will be included in an update - With the GWX damage model so not much point in you adding it

While I have your attention, could I please ask you about the status or reason for leaving out the NTR3 Fast Transport, NLTSF Small Tanker Lit, NAMD Naval Supply Ship (Marineversorger), NYAM Naval Auxiliary Ship (Sperrbrecher), NLSS Small Merchant Lit and your own NKIM Inshore Merchant? Thx

Ships not in GWX
 

The Lit Small Tanker and Small Merchant were completed too late to be scripted into the GWX campaign. Maybe someday...:hmm:

The NAMD was actually included, along with a Depot Ship that I built.

I don't know the reasons for the absence of the others.

No need for the NKIM as newer ships available and it wasnt any different to its parent ship
The lit small tanker and merc were too late for inclusion - not so much from the damage model side but more from a scripted\campaign side - many changes were needed and no time to do them
Again these will be added in an update - too good to miss

The NAMD is in - its now the NDS ( or NSD ) lol one is the NAMD the other is from AG24 - Both are Depot ships - the allies use one and the axis the other
The Sperrbrecher I am not too sure about

The shipyard isnt my dept so hope that helps

The NTR3 is a kitbash from Combatplanes/X1 software which has been released for free as a sample. It is the same as the stock TR, but with two funnels and no landing craft.

Thanks, guys. I appreciate your quick answers. The variety of merchants and tankers in the game is an area that has really interested me over the past year and half, so it's good to know the status of these missing ships.

As a former IUB +60 other mods type of user, I'm finding GWX to be simply amazing -- a quantum jump from anything the community has had thus far. Thank you for your individual efforts and those of your fellow GWX developers.
