H.M.S Rodney
Just how many of the bloody things is there in gwx? I just took out my secound one, the 1st was in Sept 39 in the BE grid and tonoight I took one out in Grid AM64 Aug 1940.

In reality there were two Nelson class battleships: The HMS Rodney and the HMS Nelson.
In SH3, I believe it keeps respawning them whenever a large battleship is called for. Unless GWX has fixed that? |
Am playing GWX I thought there were no 2 ships alike in gwx?
|
Unfortunately there are a few ships alike lol
The game only has a couple of classes of Br BB so those have to fill in for others ATM in GWX are 7 BB and the Revenge Class In realty the Brits had 19 BB And they werent sunk as regular as you lot are going through them Poor ole Winston wont be happy at the loss of another one |
I must have compleated 40+ patrols at least.
I have sunk 1 light cruiser and spotted one Axis Cruiser. Unlucky for me, but realistic. |
The truth is..under Lend Lease we didn't actually receive 50 destroyers/escorts...We actually received 50 BB's :arrgh!:
|
Well, I took out 5(!) Nelsons (3 of them were even at the same place at the same time!) before Januari -43 in my GW 1.1 campain :P
Altough loads of BB's arent represented in SH3, Queen Elizabeth class (5), Renown (2), Admiralty Hood (1, altough this is in GWX), Vanguard (1, altough not completed until -46, but neither Graf Zeppelin was completed). I've always wondered why they chosed Revenge instead of Queen Elizabeth class in SH3, the Revenges were just smaller, cheaper, slower, worse QE's, that unlike the QE's didnt get upgraded and actually saw much action in WW2... HMS Warspite  |
