SH3Gen and GWX

I have finished going through the canal and am now in grid AN96. I have tried to get SH3Gen to give me an intelligence report, but it will not.

Can someone help?
Rob

Intelligence report

I have used SH3Gen without problems. Thy to reinstall the SH3Gen and see if it helps. Also make sure the files are not read only.

Stupid question may be, but did you point SH3Gen to the right save when you ran it ?
You have to exit game, run SH3Gen on the last save and reload this save after, as the only thing SH3Gen does is writing in a saved game. The information is then carried on to all subsequent saves, like anything you write on the map.

Well, nothing worked. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it on Drive D: (2nd partition on hard drive) so I uninstalled it again and reintslled it on drive C: Still didn't work.

I have three installs: SH3, TGW1.1a (it worked for them) and GWX. Those are my career files in My Documents.

It's got me stumped.

Would the fact that I am not using the folder SH3 for any careers>
My 3 career folders are: U55, TGW and GWX

Or another possibility is that Commander saved my Career for GWX using my full German name consisting of two words separated by a space?

SOrry to dissapoint you, but it will not go generate a report for GWX
I'll try the other ones to see what happens.

I'm going to have to start a new mission for each of the others to see if SH3Gen will generate a report.

mr chris 12-21-06 01:37 PM

Hehehehehehe

Well I have "fingered it out" :rotfl: :rotfl:

ROFLOL :rotfl: :rotfl:

I should have been able to "finger it out" before now. :rotfl: :rotfl:

ROFLOL :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have TWO choices.

1) I either leave ONE copy of SH3GEN, and then for each career like U55, TGW and GWX, I will have to go to Setting/General/...and select the proper location of the game file I am dealing with, or

2) Make THREE copies of SH3GEN, just like I had to do for SH3COMMANDER

ROFLOL :rotfl: :rotfl:

I shoulda known it. I must have been thinking where the "Beverly Hillbillies" came from when ole Jeb fired his gun inta the ground and discovered OIL. :rotfl:

What an IDIOT I am :damn:

robj250 12-21-06 02:48 PM

Now, what I've done, is taken up all my time on the computer that I'm allowed. Now I have to rest for the rest of the day. :-?
