My first GWX convoy
 

1st patrol for GWX and i am off the english coast in sept 39 . I sunk a few loners when i got a radio message of a contact report . I am concerned about fuel but decided to try to find this convoy . Hydrophone check and sounds like something big . Wish me luck .

Well you cannot see the destroyer about 1500mts to my right and hes making me nervous .
Almost forgot to say that i got a message from the weapons officer and he identified it as the Rodney .

I've just encountered my first GWX convoy at it's a big one! After a few hours of painstakingly setting up a good position I put the scope up to find myself in <300m of vis. (heavy fog).:cry: According to the hydrophone the convoy sailed right past me but I didn't see a thing. I was very tempted to launch a random wide spread of torps across the convoy but I figure patience is the name of the game here.

After work tomorrow I will wait for them to pass and then race ahead. As soon as the weather improves (crosses fingers) I'll move back into an ambush position and see how I go.:arrgh!: But now it's time for bed! Got sucked in and it's WAY past my bedtime.

I post my problems in this thread, ´cause I can't find it anywhere else

I have been at most downloadsites e.g filefront a.s.o but everywhere I get "ERROR" ERROR" when trying to get the new GWX-mod

I had the same problem, you just have to keep trying. I guess things are overloaded...
