GWX Installation Order
 

Hi,

Firstly let me take this oportunity to thank everyone involved in the GWX project and for sharing it with me.:up:

Just finished downloading the mod (I'll keep it seeding at 150kb/s for a couple of days) and I'm wondering in which order I should install the components. E.g. GWX then Commander or Commander then GWX?

I currently have a fresh install and I've patched to 1.4b.

I dont know if it matters, but I´d install it in this order:

GWX
SH3Cmdr
Sh3Cmdr GWX files

Use the MD5 to compare your files first
Then install GWX
Install the hotfix - http://files.filefront.com/GWX_Germa.../fileinfo.html
Install any other mods you want through JSGME
Then add SH3Commander
Add GWX specific SH3commander files to sh3commander http://www.megaupload.com/?d=R3824YLO

how do you do it?!?
 

im currently downloading GWX, how do i install it, the files appear as 'open with' documents u know files that have no specific program assigned to them that they open with, do i just stick it in a folder in the sh3 directory or something?

I have a special SH3 folder containing all my downloads for SH3 within my "Received files" folder. In that Folder, I've created one called GWX and anything I've downloaded for GWX, I've put in there.

Once everything is downloaded, Just run the exe file. It will install all the bins where they need to go.
Then add optional mods with JSGME which will have been installed in your Program Files/Ubisoft/Silent Hunter III location.
