If you had read the GWX status thread, you would have seen several references to interest in a torrent download alternative for the mod.
Those people also indicated they weren't familiar with torrents and clients, so
I merely spent 5 minutes to set the manual up for a trial run for those people.
If you aren't one of those people, this thread really doesn't concern you.

Agreed, a torrent d/l can actually be faster for some people than many of the mirrors, providing everyone seeds.

Torrents are a god send for people on dialup.

I don't normally run a client, but in this instance I'm going to get things situated and up the mod as soon as I get it, unless one of the guys doing the initial uploads was also creating a torrent? :hmm:

Guess I'd better do a little searching. ;)
