Sub damage for unknown reason

Hidy.
I'll be cruising around off the eastern coast of England and for no reason, my Sub takes damage and goes straight to the bottom. I'll be in time advance when it happens but there is no mention of enemy activity of any kind in the dialog box. I have been able to save the Sub by blowing balast exactly once. The damage always centers around the middle of my boat. There is no mention of how I got sunk at the end.
I am using SubCommander but with the damage generator off. I am submerged when this happens.
I am also using the Grey Wolves.

Is Bernard at fault or are the Brit anti Sub aircraft really good?

Thanks,

Bob

Mines

There are mine fields on the east coast of England. First, the English Channel gets and then they progress all the way up the east coast in the early months of the war.

Sounds like mines!! Now you know why to keep clear of the channel and English coast!

Well, Christ. I wish it would have told me that in the game. Sure would have made things a lot easier. Oh well, back to AN29 for me then.
I did kill a destroyer at 1765 meters with a type 2 before I killed myself this last time, though. Wish I coulda kept that kill.

Thanks, y'all!

Bob

What did you expect the tommies to put up a sign on Dogger Bank saying "Achtung Minen!" or something??:D

I've got hit like that several times in the North Sea now and it hurts! Particularly when you play DiD!
