How can I got promotion ?
 
I done 7 patrol. sunk 177,000 tonnage but I only got medals. How can I got promotion.

In SH3 promotions and medals are likned with renown and not tonnage. Check out this thread it will help you

Welcome swab. I get promotions by shooting anyone higher rank than me.:doh: Really, I have never paid attention to it. Just surviving and sinking ship is all I concentrate on!

True, but even in NYGM you get the promotions due to the renown. Now since the renown is awarded on equal basis with tonnage it's the same, but technically speaking renown still rules your career. I am pedantic I know no need to say anything:D :D
