1942 and no new U-Boot???
 

so Ive been playing like maniac in past few days to get promised IX series (displayed as available during 41) U-boot for my hard earned renown (have lotsa to spend), 26th patrol, January 1942 and there is still no option to upgrade it???
whats wrong ??? only thing I was able to get was anti-sonar coating :(

What mods? What flotilla? To get a IX you have to be in the 2nd, 10th, or 12th flotilla.

You might also want to consider using SH3Commander too...but anyways if your that desperate for the type IX change the data file or start a career later on in the war :arrgh!:

no mods just latest patch. anyway i have let myself transfered to everywhere (including Medditerian where they sent me to one way mission to patrol out in Atlantic lol) but still no option to change. Will try again but kaleun is saaaad

You must make sure you are in a flotilla that has the new subs...for instance if you stay with the 1st Flotilla, you will only have the Type VII available. Switch to the 2nd or perhaps even the 7th and see if that does not help.

thanks for tips but phone in my office has been ringing to different kommandaturs all the time transfering myself from everywhere to elswhere. My crew is pi$$ed off to be travelling so much in trains... :)
