How the uboat were build (youtube link)
|
What is interesting is the making of sub part modules and then welding it all together. This process is still used today.
|
Excellent find Seth...I honestly thought it was only the type XXI that were built in modules

WOW,, what a find!
Can videos on Youtube be downloaded?? If so,, how is this done please??
Thanks U-94 |
The youtube videos can be downloaded by a freeware called "vdownloader"
I'm not sure whether it is legal or not, so just check it out by yourself at Google Also, it is not 100% working since Youtube may have blocked these softwares Thanks Seth. I love it although I've seen many pics about building a U-boat before |
Incredible:up:.

Excellent clip.
That video mentions Schuhart, so I checked uboat.net about him. http://www.uboat.net/men/schuhart.htm Have any of you sunk an aircraft carrier on your first patrol? This guy sunk HMS Courageous (22,500 tons) on his first war patrol. He also survived the war, and served the West Germany's navy. |

Videodownloader works... simply because the flv (flash-embedded video) also remains in your browswer's cache. Videodownloader works well with Firefox,... and with IE you can simply browse your cache to find it.
