Is it just me?
 

Does anyone else have problems with the dipping sonar being 30-40 degres off? It seems like the only time I can get a reliable reading is when the cable is being deployed or retracted. The unit is not resting on the bottom, and this happens with both passive and active sonar.

For example, I will deploy the dipping sonar and while it is still deploying, I can detect and mark a sub, check it on the map with 'show truth'. When the sonar is fully deployed, or if I stop it, the contact bearing seems to shift about 30 degrees.

Also, has anyone heard anything about the 1.04 patch? I was under the impression it was 'coming out soon' like a year ago....

No, usually i've got around 14-17 knots due to wind. Think maybe that's the problem?(I'll try it tonight)

Well it may be the problem .. winds and currents behave strangely in DW. Better turn them off.

It's a bug.
