However, I have always like the idea of an old salty crew of germans who refused to surrender, and now live as pirates commanding the rogue ship throughtout the world...being responsible for a large chuck of those missing boats in the last 40 years...

Actually if you read the bottom it talks of hit points that relate to roll playing games like Dungeons and Dragons, etc. Probably part of that type gaming.
