N.Y.G.M and SHIII Generator Question.

Hello sorry if this has been asked but is SHGen compatible with N.Y.G.M TW2.3 i am asking because SHGen changes the campaign file in your saved game before you load your save and back to the game.
What changes would SHGen make to the campaign file?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not totally sure about that but I think SH3Gen is fully compatible with NYGM. With GW there is no problem at all (I'm using it and I know it works)

SH3Gen is compatible with them both, yes.

Same here, use SH3 Gen and SH3 Weather with NYGM mod. There is no risk with SH3 Gen as it only writes in your saves, not in the game files itseilf.
SH3 weather writes in the game campaign files, therefore it is advised to save a copy of the original ones before running it, in case you don't like it and want to reinstall original game.

No changes, The campaign files are read, but not changed.

What Corsair says is absolutely correct. Sh3Gen can mess up a savegame, but it can't mess up SHIII.

Tip: If ever something should go wrong with the save, you can always use the backup that Sh3Gen creates. Look into your carrer folder and you'll find it. I can only say that though I have never ever seen something go wrong with a save, it always remains a theoretical possibility.

Of course, you're right, forgot the backup... Never had to use it, that's why...;)
