Supply Ship

I am playing with GW 1.1, and there seems to be a supply ship, Thalia, at port in Caditz Spain, how do I use it to resupply my boat?

Thanks! :D

Sail close to the ship - as you would your home port
Esc
End patrol
Dock at Thalia

Then what? you restart the mission? Is it considered a new patrol?

Yes unfortunately its a new mission and you will get a NULL patrol grid - which means you are free to hunt then return home
You can still hand out your medals IIRC but cant upgrade your sub

Before you dock though I would save game and exit and get yourself SH3Commander 2.6
Then reload your game through that - that way you will only spend 1 day in base as opposed to the 28 without it

With SH3Commander I believe you can also set yourself a patrol grid if you use it to start your next patrol - after docking

I remember the first time I tried to use the supply ship...I had no idea you had to use the ESC key and "Dock at:" function....I kept getting closer and closer to it, trying to get something....ANYTHING to happen...*CRASH* friggin ran into it and totally destroyed my bow tubes. That was the last time Bernard handled resupply duty! :nope:

If you don't use SH3 Cdr, you can also use a small program called SH3 Patrol, to set the stop time and assign a grid number instead of the "null".
