Help!! I've lost my bases!!

I've got a problem,

I used the mission editor for the first time the other night to add some extra airbases for the germans and a few other minor things.

When I launched my next patrol I found my starting point for my U-Boat was in the middle of the South Atlantic!!!:o More of a problem was there was no ports (both friendly and Enemy).

Is there a way to get them back, there were ships, as I went hunting and sank some, and I was able to get home by exiting the mission.

Please let me know, I just want to go home!

(I don't have red ruby shoes)

Sounds like you screwed up your campaign_LND.mis file. You're gonna need a back-up or the original file from whatever mod you're using.

"ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US"..cats from Zero Wing. (couldn't resist:lol: )

seriously, did you save your new file as the LND file--if so you probably overwrote the LND layer. but missing ports sounds more like a location file problem--did you modify that at all??

Edit: just try rebooting and starting from port again--south mid atlantic start point sounds like a stock bug that's been discussed before.

I had similar problem, when altering either the LND or SCR layers I have to start a whole new campaign not just a patrol.:-? Don't forget to edit Locations.cfg.
